Art From time to time, the creative bug gets me, and I play around with PhotoShop and Painter on my Mac. Here are a few images I've turned out, just for fun.
The higher resolution versions linked to each thumbnail are between 50K and 90K in size.
These images are designed to be viewed with a screen gamma of 1.8 (Mac standard). PC monitor-display card combos tend to have a linear gamma (1.0), which can make the images look flat by comparison. When I get a moment, I'll create some versions with boosted midtones that should look OK on PC monitors. In the meanwhile, adjusting the levels to brighten the midtones in something like PaintShopPro will give the best results.
